Run system_profiler SPBluetoothDataType -detailLevel full | grep -A 12 AirPods to see each AirPod's battery percentage.

01Command

Command
$ system_profiler SPBluetoothDataType -detailLevel full | grep -A 12 AirPods

02What it does

When AirPods are connected, the detailed Bluetooth report includes per-device battery information that the brief report omits. The -detailLevel full flag surfaces the BatteryPercent fields for the left bud, right bud, and charging case. Pipe it through grep to jump straight to the AirPods section instead of scrolling the whole report.

!Warning: The battery numbers only appear while the AirPods are actively connected; the case percentage may show only after opening the lid. Names vary by language, so adjust the grep term if your device is not named 'AirPods'.
