Stop Windows Turning Off Your Network Adapter (Power Saving)

Command
$ Disable-NetAdapterPowerManagement -Name "Wi-Fi"

02What it does

Windows saves battery by allowing the network adapter to sleep when idle, but on many machines the adapter then fails to wake properly, leaving the network disconnected after sleep or dropping the connection during downloads. Disable-NetAdapterPowerManagement turns off those power-saving features for the named adapter. Check the exact name first with Get-NetAdapter.
