02What it does

iPhones save photos as HEIC, which many Windows apps and websites still can't open. ImageMagick decodes HEIC and re-saves each file as JPG without touching the original. For a single photo use magick photo.heic photo.jpg; the mogrify form above converts every HEIC in the folder in one go.
