Reboot Directly into UEFI/BIOS Setup
Use systemctl reboot --firmware-setup to restart Linux straight into the motherboard's firmware setup screen.
01Command
$ systemctl reboot --firmware-setup02What it does
The command sets the UEFI 'boot to firmware setup' flag before rebooting, so you no longer have to guess the right keystroke timing. It works on UEFI systems; on old BIOS machines the flag is ignored and you need the manual key. If the command reports the option is unsupported, the firmware lacks the os-indications feature.
