Reset Privacy Permissions with tccutil
Clear mistakenly denied camera, microphone, or automation permissions so macOS asks again.
Run `tccutil reset Camera` to reset the camera service for all apps, or `tccutil reset Camera com.vendor.app` for one app.
01Command
Command
$ tccutil reset Camera02What it does
macOS stores privacy decisions in the TCC database, and there is no per-app 'ask again' button — tccutil is the supported way to clear entries. The service names mirror the Privacy & Security panes: Camera, Microphone, ScreenCapture, SystemPolicyAllFiles (full disk), AppleEvents (automation). Scoping the reset to a bundle identifier avoids wiping every other app's approvals.
03Risk
!Warning: A service-wide reset (no bundle id) forgets choices for every installed app at once.
04Undo
✓No undo needed — this command does not change persistent state.
