Uninstall an App from the Command Line with winget
Remove installed programs by ID or name with winget uninstall — scriptable, exact and faster than hunting through Settings.
01Command
$ winget uninstall --id App.Cleaner -e02What it does
Settings' Apps list only shows some programs, and Control Panel buries the rest. winget uninstall works for every package the Windows package manager knows: run `winget list` to find the app's ID, then uninstall with --id plus -e so a similarly named app cannot match by mistake. It also accepts --silent to suppress the app's own uninstaller dialogs, which makes batch cleanup of several machines painless.
03Risk
04Undo
$ Reinstall the app with `winget install --id App.Cleaner -e`; the uninstall itself cannot be undone.05Sources
