Reset the Microsoft Store Cache with wsreset
Fix a Microsoft Store that won't open or fails to download apps by clearing its cache with the built-in wsreset command.
01Command
$ wsreset.exe02What it does
The Microsoft Store keeps a local cache of app listings and download state. When that cache is corrupted, the Store may refuse to open, spin forever on downloads, or fail app updates. wsreset.exe purges the cache without touching your installed apps, account, or downloads history. The command runs silently in a blank console window for several seconds and then opens the Store automatically.
03Risk
04Undo
✓No undo needed — this command does not change persistent state.
